About Giorgio On Pine

Giorgio On Pine is one of the italian restaurants listed in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The business is registered at 1328 Pine St, Philadelphia, PA 19107; use this page to check its hours, phone number and Google rating before you make the trip. In Philadelphia, family-run Italian places are busiest on weekend evenings and around holidays, when reservations or call-ahead seating are worth it. BYOB is common at smaller restaurants in some states, with a modest corkage fee or none at all; the listing or a quick call will tell you. Wing-and-pizza shops across Pennsylvania do most of their business by delivery and price wings by the piece or in fixed counts, with sauce heat adjustable on request. Catering trays, party pizzas and sheet pies need a day's notice at most places, and more around big game days.

Hours are published for 2 days a week. On most of those days it is open 4–10:45 PM. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (215) 545-6265. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. Its website is giorgio-on-pine.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.6 out of 5 from 1,640 reviews, which is a strong result for an italian restaurant in Philadelphia and suggests consistent service.

Philadelphia is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Traffic in Philadelphia peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Addresses read from the street number up to the city, state abbreviation and five-digit ZIP code; the map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I came in looking homeless, because currently, I am; for it is fleeing from domestic abuse to a place that fills me with love. I felt a energy that was home like. They don't just work there, they are there, as **people**. The food was excellent, I have a refined pallet, for what I would expect of this place, with the reviews, it met that exceptionally well! 9.8/10 Food (only critique is to have the chicken even easier to slide on through with a fork and knife), 9.8.8/10 Service (only because I wished for a refill for a small while), 8/10 Atmosphere (Felt a bit anxious in the environment with the smaller space for everyone to fit through, and wish the music filled the space better for walk ins; being given higher on the scale, as for the people, made up for it extraordinarily so). A personal preference for the bread, serve warm, I think the flavors from it being fresh, alone with the oil, would of been greatly enhanced, melting on the tongue. The understanding shown when I hadn't known my food contained ham, it felt human, they were quick to take it back and prepare me it again! I am familiar with all sorts of environments, even ones like this, despite my current circumstances.

The food was ok, fairly priced for Philly. My wife got a gluten free pizza, I got the ribeye. The ribeye was too tough and fatty, I ordered it medium rare. Her gluten free pizza was terrible. The allergen menu was good, and the pastas looked good.

This is my second time coming to this restaurant, and I cannot say enough good things about it. From the food, to the service, it is worth every penny and minute taking the trip to Philly. We had reservations at 4:00 because I wanted to eat early knowing it gets crowded and we also didn't want to get home late. We were seated right away and immediately staff was already tending to our table. Our server Jaime was great- very friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. The owner himself frequently goes around stopping by tables to chat and make sure the customers are satisfied. The reason I originally came across this restaurant last year was because of their expansive gluten-free menu and the ability for me to enjoy pasta at a restaurant knowing that it’s safe. I got the GF braised beef spaghetti and the burrata appetizer and they were both incredibly flavorful and fresh. My other guests had the sweet potato gnocchi and lobster ravioli and a few other dishes that they said were delicious as well. I finished off my meal with the CrΓ¨me brΓ»lΓ©e (picture of it is from last year also from my birthday and my guests chocolate tartufo is last year as well). Before I left, I told

Love this relaxing, intimate BYO Italian restaurant, especially after the symphony! Very fairly priced, casual-but-professional service, excellent appetizers, bread, and entrees. Not sure if I have ever had room for dessert. So many people recommend this place, its almost silly. Worth every rave.

I’ve been wanting to come here for a long time and finally did. I have to say I was not disappointed. The menu is fantastic, the food is as authentic as it gets. So very delicious. The service is great, it gets really busy but they’re still friendly and attentive. Reservation ahead of time is highly recommended as it’s a small place and gets booked up pretty fast. They could accommodate large groups. We were 7 and they had no problem accommodating us. It is however, very very loud. Almost difficult to hear each other. Not recommended for a first date or business dinners - might be tricky. But strongly recommended for friends night out and date nights. Can’t wait to be back for more!!
